Designory challenged us to create a cohesive social media rebrand for BIC, bringing together their three distinct product categories (Pens, Razors, and Lighters) under a unified visual and messaging system. Each product line speaks to a unique audience, but the rebrand needed to bridge these differences while amplifying BIC’s global commitment to sustainability. The result was a refreshed social media presence that balanced product storytelling with a new consistent brand voice, utilizing BIC’s established mascot as a thread that connected sustainability and their three product categories.

Our concept reimagined BIC’s social presence with a fresh, approachable attitude rooted in the brand’s core values: simplicity, ingenuity, and integrity. Through audience research, we uncovered a vibrant, youthful energy within BIC’s community, an insight that shaped both our visual direction and tone of voice.

At the heart of the campaign, we brought BIC Boy to life—literally. By creating a physical mascot costume, we turned BIC’s iconic figure into an interactive character who embodies the brand’s quirky, confident, and timeless spirit. From playful videos to real world encounters, BIC Boy became the face of a legacy brand ready to connect with audiences in bold new ways.
